Air Conditioning Inspections
Under the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), building owners and managers who control air-conditioning systems have an obligation to operate and maintain the system within certain criteria.
What this means to your organisation is that any air-conditioning system larger than 12kW must be inspected by a qualified energy assessor. |

This inspection must take place every five years to ensure that energy efficiency levels are maintained over time. Failure to carry out these inspections results in a fine amounting to £300.
Inenco / NIFES have a range of experience of surveying air conditioning systems. We can send a qualified energy assessor to your site to carry out the necessary inspection and produce the energy efficiency report that is required to comply with the EPBD. Our efficiency report will include recommendations to improve the efficiency of your air conditioning system, reducing your energy costs and carbon emissions.
