Many of our projects involve helping our clients meet legislation concerning the construction and operation of buildings. Building Regulations

We provide design and advisory support on compliance with Part L (Part J in Scotland) of the Building Regulations. NIFES uses state-of-the-art modelling software as appropriate to refine and optimise our solutions.

DDA upgrades

NIFES manage many upgrade programmes driven by disabled access legislation, and can offer all the range of disciplines these involve.

Legionella Protection

Design and management of remedial works arising from legionella protection surveys has been a core NIFES service for many years.

Sector Specific Guidelines

We can tailor our services to the needs of specific sectors, e.g. HTM guidance in health care premises, food and drink manufacturing requirements.

Housing Developments

NIFES offers SAP rating assessments to bolster our design services for social housing and private developments.
