Making your Property Information Measure Up

Complementing our other Property Appraisal services is our capability to provide Measured Surveys. NIFES can measure to any level of detail for building fabric, building services and external works.

We use laser measuring devices to capture the data and the latest CAD techniques to present the information. NIFES can also measure the efficiency of plant and equipment using a variety of techniques, including thermal imaging cameras.

This measured information is used to inform and improve our other services. Further information on component qualities is used to increase the detail provided in our Life Cycle Cost reports. The actual efficiency of plant information can help to make our Building Performance reports more accurate.

All the information collected in our Measured Surveys can be displayed on CAD plans and specifications, and imported into database systems, e.g. MICAD. Further improvements are then made to designs based on accurately measured data.
