RESPONSIBILITY & PURPOSE:
As the principal accountable person, you must prepare and update the safety case report.

STEP 1:
Begin to prepare your Safety CASE & Safety Management System

UPDATING YOUR BUILDING SAFETY CASE REPORT:

You should update your safety case report, for example, when:

  • Improvement work is carried out to manage building safety risks
  • Work on the building impacts building safety risks
  • You should notify the Building Safety Regulator of any updates or revisions to your safety case report.

STEP 2:
Undertake a GAP analysis

REPORTING:
We may ask you to submit an updated copy of the report.

STEP 3:
Have a facility to be able to produce a safety case REPORT, when called upon, to meet the 28 day application window
