To meet the need for the post-war industry to become more energy efficient, The Ministry of Fuel and Power set up the National Industrial Fuel Efficiency Service (NIFES).
Fast forward to today and NIFES is very pleased to be celebrating 7 decades of providing expert guidance and support to our clients. In this time, we have grown and evolved with the rapidly changing needs of our sectors, but at our core we remain the same business set up to provide best practice and to help clients get the best out of their projects.
We are proud of our achievements and our team of experts both past and present who have helped to deliver a wide range of consultancy, technical and practical services to thousands of clients in every major sector.
A year of celebration
Over the next 12 months we will be undertaking a number of celebrations and articles to commemorate this proud milestone. Make sure you look out for our commemorative special edition logo, which we have just launched.
Last week, the NIFES team hosted a summer party for colleagues past and present. The event invited each of them to reflect and celebrate the part they have played in our continued success. After all, our people and their passion for growth have ensured our staying power.
